Comments:
Got a slightly late start due to a conflict with our local GA State Net (CW).
20M was good for a few mults at the start including a very weak N7US who must
have been backscatter or groundwave. Didn't sound like backscatter, but it is a
long way from GA to IL for groundwave. 40M was excellent with best
"DX" being NJ6Q in CA. 80M was also good with about half of my QSOs
being in MA and CT. Thanks for all QSOs. Very nice to hear a lot of new calls
tonight. This was my first QSO using my new ACOM1500 amplifier just put into
service yesterday (thanks to KU8E for the help!). A real pleasure to opearate
and no bad signal reports as I have occasionally gotten using my Alpha 78,
which will now go to N4UQ for repair. If the ARRL 10M contest doesn't wear me
completely out, I'll try to be QRV in thes SST next Sunday night. 73, John,
