Comments:
Thanks I'm sure to the recent CME, condx were abysmal the first night and so-so
the second. No QSOs with the 1st or 3rd call districts, and only one (W2GD/SNJ)
in the 2nd. The only other east coast QSO was in NFL. Add one XE, one ZF and
that's it for "real" DX, i.e., not counting KL7 and KH6. Very few Q's
from east of the Mississippi, and not that many from east of the Rockies. On the
plus side, I worked all of the 7th district apart from WY, and all W6 sections.
Add 4 VE provinces and that's about it. I heard PJ2T, who is usually a gimme on
160, but could not raise an answer from them. And despite being on around my
dawn, I didn't hear a single JA.
I spent a large part of two nights at this, but when QSOs petered out, usually
after a half hour or so, I would take a nap and try again later.
