Other then missing the sweep (PR, never heard it), and missing my target of
600qs, I am very happy. Everything worked, no glitches. The little FH-2 DVK
like unit saved my voice with the bulk of the exchange work, with only
occasional requests for a repeat. I also used call history for the first time,
although very important to use ONLY as a guide, as there were many
"bsd" bits of information, some QTH and some Check. I was thrilled
with both TER and VI in the log by my 12th contact, figured I might have a
chance. Some sections I had to work hard at Saturday (had 75 in by time I
knocked off for sleep at 2am), were easy and multiple contacts on Sunday! I
thought 10m would have more action, and 20m was weak as well. Mostly S&P on
Saturday, mainly because I couldn't find a spot, with more running on Sunday
later in the day, still need to do more. Working with only 100 watts can be a
challenge (my hats off to the QRP guys), I finding timing and voice modulation
to be critical in pileup situations, sometimes I am in on first or second call,
other times I wait my turn (and watch the minutes go by). Till the next one....
