I survived the "GH". Barely.
Mostly by giving the section as "Golf Hotel". No official name as this
would be too much for my taste.
Nonetheless, I encountered two extremes:
One EWA station commented: "Golf Hotel? Is this Golden Horseshoe? I like
the new name." I attribute this to the West Coast hippie frame of mind...
Two American jokers came back to "Golf Hotel" with: "What's the
section??? 'Golden Horseshit'?". This, I do not know what I shall attribute
to...
Anyway, as lately just about usual, I've felt like I've had a golden horseshoe
up my arse.
