Comments:
This was a weekend for relaxation, not for a dedicated effort. Every year I
think to myself that I'll skip Sweepstakes but it's hard to stay away. Long long
ago in a prairie town far far away, Sweepstakes was my gateway drug into
contesting. I despise nostalgia.
I never heard VI and ONN (paging Tom!). I wouldn't have even made 80 sections
had I not spent time on Sunday evening scouring the bands. WP3R led me a merry
chase as he S&P'd across 20 meters. I had to guess which way he was spinning
the VFO and place a few CQs where he would stumble across me.
