Comments:
Solar X-ray levels are poor with a B5 background.
The higher bands are much better now with the Winter
Anomaly but the shortening days makes it a challenge
for the Arctic after daylight disappears.
Due to defective power supplies I did run my batteries
since the weekend, and it seems I can do a single CWT
session with 42 Wh on average, meaning the use of 3 Ah
of battery capacity (either 4S LiFePO4 or 6S LTO). My
LTO's are 30 Ah, meaning about 9-10 rounds of one hour.
The SB-230 I am running from 240V AC mains.
Nice to be called by several USA stations on 7 MHz. It
was definitely the best and busiest band this morning.
Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA NP2ZA #1856 CWops
