Comments:
Was a crazy weekend,with lots going on.
I did want to try this contest to see how things worked.
I had fun on the 3 bands that my 2 elements at 40 feet would cover,but know I
was done when it was time for 40m.
Same with my 80m dipole..my amp just didn't like it.
My antenna is tuned for CW on 40m,and when I tried to use the tuner in my amp,it
kept tripping.
Not worth a repair bill at Elecraft to make a few hundred q's.
I was told a few times that my audio was hot,and a bit distorted,and could not
figure out that fix.
Thanks to K5KG for trying to help.
Congrats to all the big scores out there.
I hope next year to have real antennas up...
