Comments:
It's the TEAM competition that is holding this contest together. Without that,
it would be a drag. SWACC and NCCC were both out in force.
I just got back into Yuma on Thursday after three months in the mountains of
SOCAL. Hurricane Hilary (69 mph gusts here) blew a ton of shingles off my roof,
but who cares? The ANTENNAS were OK!
Thanks to KE6K for getting on from AZ. I usually miss that mult in the Sprint.
Equipment: K3x2, AL-1500x2, 2 el short 40, half sloper for 80, all on a 48'
tower. Same tower and antennas for the last 45 years. Op is now 80 - officially
a geezer.
Thanks for all the Q's. It was good to hear everyone!
