Comments:
In the daylight sector the ionosphere was
governed by a wide M1.44 flare peaking at
0740Z. This was evident on the lowest bands
where there was a partial blackout. Even on
14 MHz the weakening of European signals was
evident at 0745Z. Stan AH6KO had was coming
in nicely and he had a big pile-up. Some
Europeans tried for a long time to get
through to him, but as evident from his
CQ calls, he was not able to pick up the
weaker callers. Also Allan VK2GR came in
with a decent signal and most of Europe
was damped. On 21 MHz I only heard 4L6QL.
I will try to be active in SAC next weekend
5 x SOSB with a subset of call signs from
the collection: OH2MZA OH3BCX OH4BCS OH5ZA
OG6B OH8CZF OH9COG; OH1QX OH3MHA as spare.
