Comments:
Once again if 40 and 80 were not open this would have been a MUCH LONGER 4
hours. I actually started running on 40 at the end of hour 1. My rate on 20
was just too slow to stay there. SP continued to be OK and I added about 70 more
Qs, but that took almost 3 more hours.
It was fun (and motivating) to watch Contest Online ScoreBoard. I was pleased to
be in a horse race near the end with W8FJ, K3MM, K5ZO and N3RD. We kept changing
positions as our scores updated. I was fortunate to catch some end of the
session 40 meter mults and then a pretty good 80 meter run that really helped my
position. Well done to all of you!!
Thanks to everyone that participated and hung in there for the full 4 hours.
Please submit your logs before the deadline, as many of you already have done. I
will get the results published ASAP and then order the plaques and trophies,
thanks to ICOM AMERICA!
