Comments:
We had high hopes of starting on 10m and 15m but 10m never produced and 15m
played out early so our main action was on 20m which produced some good runs
well into the evening. Due to inter-station interference and good production
from 20m we stayed there and probably missed some good mults on 40m.
A good time was had by all including our newest club member, KJ5BYZ, who sat in
the chair for his first ever QSO and ended up running the pileup on 20m to lead
the team in scoring! Several other new to contesting operators (WA5CFT, KI5ZQJ)
helped the score with some 20m run activity.
Hopefully the fun of the NAQP will serve to generate some enthusiasm for our
efforts in the SSB Sweepstakes in November. The team hopes to see you there.
Thanks for the Qs es 73,
Chuck - NO5W
Nick - W4NDF
Chris = W5CMM
Doug - WF5O
Mike - WA5CFT
Cornelia - KI5ZQJ
Brownell - KJ5BYZ
