Comments:
We actually had concert tickets for Saturday evening but the concert got
canceled and I have a little more time to operate. The location here in the city
of 4 million people is extremely noisy and on 80m it never dropped below S9 so
there was just no chance to work anyone on the low bands.
The conditions on the high bands were extremely bad. The QSB was so deep that
half of the callsign would disappear or the serial number was just not audible
anymore. I also apologize for breaking up in the middle of a run or a contact
but sometimes I have a noise level that just goes through the roof and I can’t
hear anything anymore. I did the best I could to work people and give them the
HK multiplier. Thank you so much for being patient with repeats all weekend.
Again, the noise level is tremendous.
I still had a wonderful time hearing so many of my friends in Europe from so far
