Comments:
Well, I racked up over 1000 VOTA points. That was the only thing that came out
as planned. I still had a lot of fun....until the thunderstorms unleashed and
attempted to finish what the solar storms started. Threw in the towel after 7
hours or so and watched another episode of Endeavor with the xyl. It was more
fun than listening to the static crashes on the low bands. I REALLY like this
IC-7610 a lot, but when it comes to noisy lowbands, I like the old IC-765
better. Only ran one radio though which makes this contest seem like SS on
Sunday sometimes. Especially with these condx. Thanks to the Big Sky gentlemen
for letting me participate on their team and thanks to OM Todd (WD0T) for the 6
band run.
Until next time, see double you,
Matt--K7BG
