Comments:
Part time operation from second QTH in NM. All wire antennas (inverted Vs and
inverted L's). Inverted Ls up approx 45'. V's up around 35'. 2 wire beverage
running NE/SW.
With these limited antennas and time spent am pleased with results. Actually
pleased that I can be heard at all!
As expected from recent sun activity, 10 through 20 were pretty poor at start.
In fact, never heard any signals on 10. Later both 15 and 20 did pick up. Best
band was, by far, 40.
It was very obvious that the check partial file being used had me located in NC
(where my main station is) and not NM. LOTS of long pauses before TU while folks
edited the section. Surprising small number of section repeats requested.
Thank you to all that worked to pull my less than optimum signal through the
noise and deep QSB and my apologies to those I could hear call but never could
pull you out.
