Conditions looked still promising some hours
ago, but at SST-session start Aurora was up
already well over 50 gigawatts and approaching
60 GW. There was a C5-flare at the start of the
session for the daylight zone... Start on 14 MHz.
Got two dozen RBN-flags with partly extreme signal
strengths from Europe and half a dozen from BY/JA.
At 2005 I was called by Alan G7TSM. At 2022Z I heard
Alan work Rich (weak, most likely K1DJ)...
At 2030Z I was lucky to find Mirek SN9MT on 7 MHz
for a grand score of 4 pts.
Apart from the vast number of European RBN-flags,
there was one from 3B8CW. Not unuasual on 7 MHz.
