Comments:
This is WQ6X's 1st attempt at running NAQP RTTY as a QRP Entry
from the Concord location in the East Bay (EB) Section.
This turned out to be an exercise in "educating" the memories
of the MFJ-993B auto-tuner. This weekend, ANY use of the WQ6X Classic
8JK-Cobra array on 40 & 20 meters blanketed the shack with RF creating
a cacophony of gurgling sounds in the wireless headset (altho Xmit-audio
was quite "PURE").
10-meters was a virtual no-show Disappointment. 80 meters was just the
low-band version of 10 - but ONLY because no one was playing in the 80-playpen.
It turns out 40-meters was the band for volume QSOs. 15-meters WAS to be THE
band until the MUF ceiling suddenly DROPPed - even 20 was a Ho-Hummer.
Oh WAIL - I DiD manage to prove the QRP concept from Concord, once again.
