Comments:
Late start and late finish (with Timo ES1NOA/2
=OH1NA/OH1NOA grabbed after the bell on 7 MHz).
The start on 14 MHz turned out speedy with huge
piles (up to six callers at times, I'm afraid).
USA was weak but reachable. I guess, I heard
Keith VE7KW very weak.
Switched to 21 MHz at 1940Z. Even there a few
weak USA from the East Coast. Spotty Es into
Europe. TR8CR was a bonus, calling CQ DX...
Last 9 minutes on 7 MHz. Competition was big
on S/P and so was QRN-static, but not due to
anything local. X-rays were about C3 with a
C5 peak near the end of the session. That's
the ionizing power. SFI was 214, but I call it
the Sigmund Freud Index. It is noise: mental
state of the Sun; not capable of ionization.
Winter Anomaly missing in the N. Hemisphere,
so 28 MHz rarely open for E/W DX. Wait for Oct.
Cheers/73, Zaba
