Comments:
The first hour I ran 15m, 10m, 6m and 2m and made a grand total of 43 QSO's
(depressing) so having already put in an extra long work day on vy little sleep
I cashed in my chips and let the big boys play on the bands.
Sat. morning prop/activity was a bit better. All day long I chased 10m prop and
I am certain 10 was open but very few folks looking <sigh> (even got
spotted twice on 6m with no Es Q's to show for it.)
Got my 2m beam stuck in the Maple tree near the house, so seems fitting that on
Canada Day I took off several hours to cobble together a 23' pipe with a saw on
the end of it and hack off 1/2dozen small branches so I can swing the 17B2
around (not that there were any more 2m Q's to be had...but the 6m beam is on
the same rotor and who knows...maybe someone will be on 6m CW or <gasp>
SSB some day in the future <this is a joke, folks and a poke at all the folks
transfixed to their FT<garble> screens to see what their computers
worked.>
Happy Canada Day !
Good luck to all the folks @ WRTC next weekend. I'll be rooting for ya !
CU (all of a sudden!) in the next one.
