Comments:

Well, that was interesting! My first ever FT4 contacts. Luckily I've tried FT8 a
few times, so it wasn't completely new, but for the first 20 minutes, I got zero
power out until I finally remembered I needed to be on USB-D2, not USB-D1. I did
test things out beforehand, but only transmitted with the power dialed back to
zero so the problem didn't appear then. Live and learn!

I finally made a contact with K3MM after calling CQ since I didn't have any luck
pouncing. That was great, so I called CQ a few more times on the same frequency
before I remembered that it was Sprint rules. Sorry, learning curve :)

Anyway, thanks to those who set this up. It is definitely a "practice"
for me and a great way to try out a new mode. I wonder if I have the honor of
last place in the first NS-FT4!

73, Bob, w0bh
