Operated from Fannin county location, simple set up.
Icom IC-7300 @ 5 watts
OCF wire at 35 ft. 80-6 meters
End fed sloping wire 40-10 meters
Saturday was quite active, Sunday not so much. Surpassed last year's score, but
only by about 100 points. As things slowed on Sunday, I did take more breaks to
enjoy a bit of the mountain air.
Results very similar to last year:
42 states - same as last year, struggled to snag 7-landers - no RI, HI and SD,
again.
Biggest challenge at times was holding a CW frequency at QRP.
