Big thanks to Paul for hosting me for this one, after changing his travel plans.
The station isnt really contest optimised, but we managed to install N1MM+ and
get it working, plus hook up my headset (sorry to those who I subjected to
excessive background noise before someone pointed it out to me). Only one
antenna here but again, not really an issue for this kind of contest as everyone
is in the same direction. Only up at 45' but thats more or less optimal on 10m
to the states. The only downside was a little bit of noise on saturday and I had
compromise noise with performance by beaming 280º. Sunday was worse with me not
being able to get noise below S5 until after dark, so I missed a load of people
I could hear in the background but just couldn't pull the calls out. Great
propagation on saturday and I finished with 60 mults and 1555 qsos. Sunday wasnt
as good, between the noise and slightly worse conditions, but in the end managed
to put over 1000 extra qsos in the log. Nothing heard from NU NT or YK, as
normal. Really surprised to see how many contacts I made into the states where I
normally only get one or two qso, such as ND SD WY UT etc. And who knew there
were so many active hams in OK, AR, and LA? All in all a great fun weekend.

Thanks to everyone who called in!
