Late start as planned and too tired to set up for 160 and 75M SSB and too tired
to spend much time even on 40M. 10M was filled with activity and I am not sure
20M ever closed--except for an M5.0 X-ray Flux event on Sunday at 2135Z(1135AM
Hawaiian Time). It was interesting to see the signals drop out on 15 and 20M so
significantly that I thought something was wrong with my radio. A quick check at
the SWPC solved the mystery. Hawai'i bore the brunt of that event as we were
only an hour from solar noon. I triple lined my baseball cap with aluminum foil
and continued to operate on 10M.
