Comments:
Tough to the east, and great to the west.
QRP 160 is always a challenge, but especially so last nite to the east.
Furthest east Q was CO. Never heard the east coast but for a very early w2.
No W1 2 3 4 8 or 9 heard ! W5 only heard sparsely, and W0 worked only once.
HOWEVER....ALOHA HAWAII and HELLO ALASKA!! worked KL7KY KL7SB KH6AQ WH7T and
KH6LC.
Spent half an hour calling KL7SB and KH6LC who were about just 200 cycles
apart.. repeatedly CQing with few takers. back and forth back and forth... both
within the receive passband.. 5 Watt fun!
Finally landed both KA-CHING, for big point payouts.
Well I guess its true....what we gain on 10 and 15 near the top of the cycle, we
also give up on the low bands. So it goes. Its always fun.
A hearty CONGRATULATIONS to each FB op who heard K7SS.. the hard work was FOR
SURE, on their side, pulling out the weak signal.
