Comments:
Bad start. The com port to my tuner wasn't working because last night I plugged
an RTL-SDR into the USB hub and robbed the serial port of its power. So I
started getting calls while testing it before I was set up. The VSWR on the
SteppIR was high and it was obviously out of calibration, likely from all the
tuning and retuning that went on during the CQ WW DX. It was manageable on 40
but not on 20, so I spent 3 minutes recalibrating before proceeding on 20. The
N1MM log was also acting up, with an entry logged with no call, name or number
which I couldn't delete.
By the end of the hour, everything seemed to be working OK again. Thanks for the
calls. Especially Phil and Amanda at the beginning.
