It was great to be back on the air after three years of contesting inactivity!
My XYL (Jeanne K1MOM) and I installed a replacement Carolina Windom 80 Compact
antenna @ 55 feet earlier this month and I was ready to get back on the air and
have some fun.
My goal was to have fun, make about 200 Q's and hear familiar callsigns. I
ended up making 333 Q's and was happy with my antenna's performance with my
IC-781.
