Comments:
Decided to try LP after reasonable results in SSCW and with the improved high
band condx. Mostly S&P and clicking for mults. 40 and 20 were a wall of QRM
but found 15 and 10 runable. 75 perked up nicely after 0400Z.
Didn't think a sweep was in the cards until backscatter helped log many of the
rarer western sects on Sunday: EWA, ID, WY, ND, AB, BC, SK, NM and my own sect
MT. Heard or saw spotted at least 5 other MTs but could not get a Q with any
until NU7R called me on 10m. Jim was out hunting elk about 20 miles south using
a handheld QRP rig to a wire in a tree. Fun stuff. I hope he bagged a big one.
