First "big" contest for the Elecraft K4D which has proved to be a
winner of a radio the past two months. Antennas here are all dipoles with a
Hustler 6BTV. Antenna switching and amp control are all automatic. 10 Meters
was quite active with activity often times approaching 29MHz. I normally don't
spend much time with SSB contests. I think 10 and 15 open like they were
provided the drive. Started out with the idea off an hour the first evening and
then checking out 10 meters Saturday morning. Goal in 2023 is to break a
