Comments:
Park portable - Elecraft KX3, vertical 31-foot end-fed in tree.
Fun session tonight - was getting spotted on RBN on all bands, great DX contacts
on 20 (JN1THL, LY5A, SM6F, ZL3CW), a 15-meter contact (thanks Allan VK2GR), and
4 other Hawaiian stations (all Big Island). Even made a few more mainland 40m
contacts than in past 0300's - I need to think about a workable longer portable
antenna to improve my 40m signal.
I did linger on the higher bands (20, 15, even 10) after most mainland stations
made their exits - always hoping some ops who work S&P late in the test will
notice, and take one more 20m pass.
Hope condx are favorable again next week!
72/73 and Aloha,
Bob NH6O in Honolulu
