Comments:
Got on as a part time effort right after church. My goal was to beat last year
score, which was easily done. Bands noise was a challenge at times, I have
mitigated some of the RFI on the shack but storms near by made it very
interesting at times with the qrn.
The best band was 40 for me, it turned out to be my best band, when up to 20 SSB
and NADA! then went to 20 CW a made a few qso;s.
I switched to 40 SSB for a bit, then jumped on 80 CW which is the only place you
will find me during a contest, no way I was dealing with the madness in the ssb
side of 80...
Fun times! always there is room for improvement, but I can tell the work that I
have put in to the station is paying off...
