After Friday night thunderstorm...then losing the Radio 1 amp to start session
2--and losing the screen with all the rotators, switching, etc., I said
"That's enough," & was packing-up to skip session 3 & head
home. But Larry (NN5O) was gracious to find a team spot for me--and I told him I
intended to do all 3 sessions. I finally decided that blowing-off session 3 was
a cop-out; Let's just run low power for session 3 and see how it goes. It went
OK--everything worked & the low-power score was close to the problem-plagued
high-power attempts. So, happy I stayed on, a few more team-points & a
trouble-free effort that was a fun sit. Thanks to Chuck for having me up to
play...
