This is a CHECKLOG.
I wanted to do a contest light operation and thought I could bang out 100 QSOs
in a few hours on 15m, which has been pretty good lately, but I was wrong as
there wasn't as much 15m activity as I anticipated. It took me almost 6 hours to
hit 100. I couldn't get any runs going and S&P was slow and very
competitive. At some point I got frustrated and flipped WSJT-Z into attended
auto mode while I worked on a photo project on the computer. Hence the CHECKLOG.
Auto mode didn't make any more QSOs than I could have had manually, but I could
do other, more useful things in the meantime. I just needed to keep an eye on
WSJT-Z and help it out when some QSO went awry.
I look forward to the CQ-WW-RTTY in October. CU there. Should be more fun.
