Comments:

my first time with 10GHz contest. Having just started with my 10GHz portable
station in early May. Mike VA3MW was kind enough to assemble the system for me
as a clone of his system. DEMI 3W transverter, IC705 for IF radio, I have a
repurposed Bell Express View 20" offset dish with W1GHz dual band 10/24
feed.
I have been fairly active with already receiving my VUCC 10GHz certificate for
the first 5 grids worked and have logged 18 grids to date.
For this contest, I was tagging along with VA3ELE so I can get a feeling for how
things work and had a fantastic time!
total of 152 log entries with 35 calls worked from 17 locations activated along
Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
Thanks to so many stations that are in the log multiple times. This was a blast!
Now to find out what can be done for the second weekend?
