This was my first attempt to do the summer version of NAQP SSB. Last year a
hurricane went over the Caymans and the power and internet was down for days
along with a few antenna issues.
Summer is tough at night on the low bands. Started with 20 over noise at 0100 on
40m and lower. 40 meter was manageable by 0300, 80m by 0400, and never heard
anyone on 160 meters.
10 meters was disappointing as stations were loud but there were very few of
them.
15 meters lasted just over an hour and 20 meters was good and consistent but
only later in the afternoon/evening.
