Comments:
I missed out on a few hours in the middle of the contest for a family
get-together unfortunately. Still, my score was better than last year. This is
a contest where you have to stay really close to the radio or you will likely
miss a chance at a contact since several of the MD operators were very part
time. Only a handful of the MDC stations were serious about operating the
entire contest. CW contacts were also very sparse, in part due to the WAE CW
contest that was going on concurrently. Mobiles seemed to be non-existent,
although there was one Rover station running around. MDC QP could benefit
greatly if a few mobiles from nearby states would help out!
