Comments:
Good fun at a leisurely pace. While conditions didn't seem THAT good, it was
good enough for me to run across GW0ETF calling CQ and he heard me first call.
Always fun to sneak in a DX QSO in the CWTs.... :-)
Thanks to all for the QSOs.
Oh, yeah...helpful hint..I hope...
When answering a CQ and the station only copies part of your call and sends a ?,
don't then send your call sign twice; keep it to once. 90% of the time that's
all that's needed. And if he still didn't get it, send it once again.
Also, in the SSTs signal report is not necessary.
And it's not necessary to send the CQ station's callsign when sending your
exchange. just keep your exchange to Name SPC or, at worst, TU Name SPC.
Brevity in a contest is very important. It not only saves you time to make more
contacts, but it also saves time of the other station for him/her to also make
more contacts. Keep it short, keep it sweet.
