Comments:
This was my first time at the HF radio since knee replacement. I thought I
would be able to put some time in the chair, but soon discovered that was not
possible. I got my 50 and quit for a while. I did decide to try again. When I
got to 84, the pain was too much for me and I quit for the night. I paid for it
during the night as the knee gave me a fit. Between the pain, I did have some
fun. Worked Harry, N3MM for the only local. I had to call him twice on 20
meters and he asked me for a repeat. I was OK with that in that I only used my
32' vertical, because I still don't have the StepperIR repaired from the
lightning damage.
Rig: ICOM IC-7610
Antenna: 32" Aluminum Tubing Vertical on a metal carport with remote manual
tuner at the base.
