Comments:
I knew the low bands would be tough this time of year. Local sunset is 9:00 PM
in our far left hand corner of the lower 48. Contest ends at 11:00 PM. Between
the QRN, QSB, and weaker signals, let's just say I'm pretty certain mine won't
be a golden log.
After hearing some activity on 10m all week, Saturday's NAQP was the day the
band decided to quit. On the bright side, 15m was excellent and 20m was once
again the workhorse. 40m was a struggle, but much improved as sunset approached.
80m was very good in the last hour.
Thanks to Larry, NN5O, for organizing our team, and to all for a fun Saturday on
the radio.
73, Mitch, K7RL
