Comments:
This was one of the more interesting CWTs of all time! I spent about half of the
hour working with a Dell tech, who ended up telling me I had smoked the hard
drive and mother board of my main computer - not this Lenovo, which is tough as
a boot - and that it would take 3 business days or more to fix. The telephone
tech would have me do something, and while I was waiting for him to figure out
what was next, I would make a few Qs - wait, make some Qs, listen to
instructions, make more Qs, etc etc. When he finally gave the verdict, I started
running on 20 and made 14 Qs in 6 minutes. QSB was pretty heavy but fast -
called VE7KW who started out as S7 but was unintelligible by the time he
finished his report (but I knew it anyway because I have worked him many times)
and was in the log because I receive a ditdit at the end even though I couldn't
hear anything in the middle. Thanks for the Qs. BTW, I received great support
from Dell!
