The RAC Canada Day GiG always gives me an excuse to spend the day away
from my office in Alameda. Band condx. were SO HORRIBLE that I gave up
any ideas of working Canada on Ssb - that's when this became a CW-only
entry. 20-meters was THE band, altho 40 had possibilities later,
except that by then, the WIMPS had already gone to bed.
80-meters was wide-open here and hardly anybody ELSE knew about it.
Forget 160 from here - even N6RO is DX.
Friday morning made it 20-agan, this time with a 15-m teaser.
