Comments:
This one was really painful due to beyond horrible conditions. With the K index
sitting at 20 when the session started, I expected things to be difficult, and
that's just what I got -- in spades. A quick check of 20 just a few minutes
before the start showed almost no signals, while 40 had a few, so I decided to
start on 40. Bad idea. I only managed 2 QSOs in the first 7 minutes. A QSY to 20
showed some signals, so I did a run up the band doing S&P. At about 20
minutes into the session, I finally established a run and proceeded to grind it
out for the remaining time. Lots of calling stations were at the noise level,
with lots of QSB to make it even more difficult. Sure hope conditions are better
for the CWTs on Wednesday. See everyone in the MST next Monday.
