Station in VT still not fully operational - only one antenna - OB 5-11
Tribander
- was available at this time for remote operation. Adding to my woes, the
rotator was stuck on EU -not the worst place
Big time family gathering was scheduled for the weekend so after hearing
fabulous reports during the week, was planning to do
a single band 15 m limited effort.
But getting on Saturday morning the the band was just awful. Went to 20 - it was
rocking so I drifted into AB category- but no 40 or 80 m Ugh.
Interestingly, had no problem to work into VK/ZL but never could break the pile
in 9V1YC on 15 m - huge signal here.
