Comments:
A late start due to dinner. On 21 MHz signals
were already at scatter level, but on 14 MHz
Alena OK4YL was the strongest like in the
1300Z session. It was tough getting through
to even the strongest stations. Finally on
7 MHz I worked Gert PA3AAV, and Bob I2WIJ
already slightly on over-time after trying
many times on the higher bands in the 1300Z
session. For the daylight sector X-rays
peaked momentarily over C3-level at 1930Z.
I bought materials for a vertical on the
car to run 10 watts with the car battery,
but I am afraid I can't get it finished
before 0700Z to operate CWT at the seaside.
The Mediterranean Sea is saltier than the
Oceans (liquid copper!).
