Comments:
First, THANK YOU to everyone for all the contacts – I enjoy this contest
because EVERYONE is calling me! I ran the entire time AND LOVED IT!
20M was the money band in RI, or at least for me when my neighbor wasn’t
running her grow-lights… I was getting runs as high as 135/hour. Got
similar, but shorter, runs on 40M off my 40’ high inverted dipole. 10M opened
for a little bit – which is always cool. And again, power does help – at
one point I got as many Qs as last year at low power BUT IN HALF THE TIME. This
contest is always a lot of fun!
Having said that, A CONTEST ON MOTHER’S DAY?! My son came over and that was
the end of the contest for me…
