Comments:
Icom IC-7300,Heil Pro Micro Headset using VOX, a Vectronics VC300DLP Manual
Tuner for 80 only, and a modified ZS6BKW up 50 feet, running N-S at 6,053 feet
elevation in Laramie, County, Wyoming. Challenging conditions with bad QSB on 80
and 40, and at times significant QSB on 20. The popularity of clicking on spots,
has sadly created a contesting environment whereby many Ops do not give out
their CALL SIGN as often as they should. Also "QRZ" should be the very
last thing that you say, when running stations. If you say "QRZ...This is
(insert your call) then you will get others who will give their call AS SOON AS
THEY HEAR QRZ (which only muddles the pileup . Try QRZ? at the end of your
calling string, and your Q rate will go way up! 73, November Seven Many Zebras
