Comments:
With a big solar flare just before the start, I didn't expect too much out of
this session. I decided to just try straight S&P. I started on 20 meters and
it was better than expected, although I had the usual problem of getting stomped
in the pileups. As expected, a brief change to 40 meters showed it was pretty
poor. The big surprise was 15 meters. I switched to 15 at about 35 minutes in
and found quite a few signals. The EU stations all had huge signals, much better
than on 20. After working out 15 I ended up the session back on 20. Despite the
low score, it was fun and it was really good to hear signals on 15 for a change.
I'll have to try it more often. See everyone next week at 1300Z.
