Comments:
Testing the performance of the local club station PY2ERA - CRRP (Club de Radio
de Ribeirao Preto), SP.
The rig was an 30-year old Yaesu FT-1000MP,
The antenna was a 30-year Mosley 3 el trap beam, up only 5 meters (15 ft).
That height of 5 meters is "the magic half a wavelength" on 10 meters,
where the antenna is supposed to work properly. And it did a good job! I even
had a small pileup on ten.
This is an urban QTH with a typical noise up to on the bands.
