Comments:

Back on the air with the proverbial "wet noodle" antenna. In truth,
it's the same 135 foot doublet that lost its support lines a couple weeks ago,
only it's snagged in the tree branches about 20 feet off the deck.

Heard very faint signals on 20 tonight, but none workable. 40 was very looong
from here, missed a lot of the mid-Atlantic guys. Probably stayed on 40 too
long, but that's where I can be heard. Apologies to NA5G for the blown Q on 80-
my RFI to the shack computer locked up the CQ loop and I couldn't stop it except
by restarting the logger!

Always a fun night to which I look forward, especially after doing morning hours
at K1RX last weekend in ARRL DX SSB - still haven't figured out which end of a
microphone is up, and copying accented English phonetics is still new to me
because I rarely use voice! CW contesting is so much less work......

Many thanks for the Qs and 73,

MikeNH
Rig: K2/10 with outboard KPA100/KAT100; wet noodle at 20 feet
