In a rush to get on, I fired up the amp and turned my entry into a check log! I
had a great time with seemingly endless stations answering my CQ on 40 and 20.
Two bits of irony: I think I would have done about the same without the amp; and
the A2000A runs so cool that it didn't even keep the shack all that warm :)
