What a fun operation! this was all thrown together last minute.. so planning
only started Thurs. the team was clearly mission oriented and everyone showed
up to do their part. net result-- a smooth operation where everyone had fun!
Hear are the team comments--
WD6T- it was great to put together a serious effort , 10 meters was a blast, and
that I enjoyed having a chance to work on several different bands. (our primary
10 and 40 op with a bunch of 20 as well.
N6WM- 15 conditions stellar and game changing. kept us on top of the pack.
W6DMW- 80m for a couple --Full of activity from the get go. Which made it a
blast. QSOs across the country with only a few states missing.
and the Maestro himself N6RO -- 80 meter during terminator period --main job was
Friday rebooting! started listening on 80m at 01z, not much. 0130 could hear
east coast, could not be heard. S&P mostly until 0230 with some success
into W9, 5. Running became useful just before 03z, when I handed it over to
DaveW. that is all, tnx to DaveJ and Chris for managing this one.
Steve K6AW spent quality time on 20 as well.
Overall we had a great time and thanks to Ken N6RO and to all for the qsos!
Online scoreboard was a blast.. only the insecure dont post. (hi Hi.. sort of)
