Great fun with five bands. Kicking myself for not putting up a (for me)
experimental 160m antenna. But, then, the rate on 80m was so good, I wouldn't
have even gone down to check 160.
Many thanks to all for the QSOs.
I also learned a few more things about the K4D I didn't really
know/understand/fathom. I'm gettin' to like this radio more and more.
The antennas played well also--I felt really loud on 15m vs. 20m.
Probably the weakest link in the station chain was the operator. He made a
number of errors, blunders, mistakes, fubars along the way; but nothing
unfixable. Lessons learned in this contest, that's for sure.
